Armed police make arrests after disturbance in Kilburn

Four men held on suspicion of affray

FOUR men have been arrested after armed police responded to reports men had been seen carrying weapons in Kilburn.

Several police vehicles swooped in on Abbey Road, at the junction with Priory Road, after a call was made to the force at around 4.45pm on today (Monday).

One eye-witness told the New Journal he saw around a dozen police cars at the scene and a number of officers some of which were carrying guns.

The group were arrested on suspicion of affray. Officers have remained at the location to conducting further enquiries.
