Best friends! Campaigner Meg Matthews hosts Primrose Hill dog show

Meg Matthews judging the ‘Child’s Best Friend’ category, won by Mars, a Labradoodle, whose owner is Celeste, aged 9. Second was Luna, an Australian shepherd, whose owner is Jemima, aged 10.
THERE were stalls selling all sorts of goodies and musical entertainment to get people dancing and singing along– but there was no doubt who the awww-factor stars of the annual Primrose Hill Festival were on Sunday – and they all had four legs.

Strutting their stuff in all shapes and sizes along Regent’s Park Road, man and woman’s best friends took centre stage at a dog show hosted by designer Meg Matthews, who has become known for her work promoting animals rights.
