Police at Pond No.2 

THE body of a man has been found in a pond on Hampstead Heath today (Saturday).

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was recovered from the No 2 Pond near East Heath Road at around 10.30am this morning.

Met Police officers said they are treating the incident as non-suspicious.

Police and forensic investigators were at the scene and had placed a police cordon around part of the pond.

The incident is being treated as non-suspicious
