Bus stop benches have been taken away… do they think we are all chauffeur-driven?
05 October, 2017
• WHY do Transport for London and Camden hate the elderly so much?
Maybe they just want to get rid of us as soon as possible. They took the bus stop bench in Kentish Town – but that is not enough. Now they have taken it from the end of Pond Street.
The latest is worse because unlike Kentish Town, which at least has a rail to lean on, this latest has nothing.
I have been trying to understand why they do this. Is it to stop poor unfortunates sleeping on the benches? But what about the poor elderly that find it painful to stand? Maybe they think we are all chauffeur-driven.
