POLICE are appealing for help to identify a man following an unprovoked attack on board a bus in Camden Town.

Officers said they want to speak to a man shown in CCTV footage on a No. 29 bus following an incident which left a 69-year-old with a broken leg. The victim was found injured in Camden Road at around 4.40pm two Mondays ago, May 4.

Police say the suspect had kicked the victim’s shopping bag as she got off the bus. When she turned around to confront him, he pushed her to the floor.

The woman, who walks with the aid of a stick was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a central London hospital for treatment and after surgery was discharged several days later.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 5ft 10ins tall, with brown hair. He is believed to have been in the company of a woman who had a red pram.
