CHANNEL 4 newscaster Jon Snow has announced he is self-isolating for two weeks at his Primrose Hill flat after returning from covering elections in Iran, a country which has seen a coronavirus outbreak.
“I must admit I’m not very good with my own company,” he said. “I’m a very gregarious character.”
Mr Snow speaking by video link to Channel 4 News said he “felt rather tired” but this was from the trip. He added that he had not been near the main virus outbreak.
People returning from outbreak areas in northern Italy have also been asked to self-isolate.
Meanwhile, Radio 4’s Nick Robinson, who lives in Islington, said he was also staying at home after coming back from a holiday to Cambodia.
Online, he thanked the Whittington Hospital in Highgate for a “routine precautionary check” and said he hoped for an all clear within 48 hours.
