PUBLIC INFORMATION PAGES FROM CAMDEN COUNCIL

PUBLIC INFORMATION PAGES FROM CAMDEN COUNCIL

This week we held our first virtual Shout Out – where young people in Camden come together to talk about their experiences of lockdown and vision for their future.

It was an incredible session with Camden’s young people talking about their fears and challenges but also the amazing work they are doing in their communities to build a better future.

This is the first of a series of Shout Out events and you can find out more about activities and support for young people at camdenrise.co.uk

We continue to be in awe of the way Camden’s residents and voluntary sector are helping each other. I saw this in action this week at Queen’s Crescent Community Association where staff and volunteers mark Iftar each evening by cooking and serving hot meals to anyone who needs one.

It’s a chance to check in with each other as well as share food with neighbours. It is one of the many ways the voluntary sector is showing extraordinary care and dedication to serve the community during this crisis.

As usual, if you’d like to get in touch with your local councillor, please call Member Support on 020 7974 2792 or email membersupport@camden.gov.uk
