Cyclist dies in hospital two days after collision in Euston Road

Police ask for witnesses to come forward

A CYCLIST has died after a collision with a motorcycle on Euston Road.

Police were called to the scene on Euston Road, at the junction with, Melton Street, at around 1.30pm on Tuesday. An air ambulance landed in Gordon Square to assist with treatment.

The 26-year-old man was taken to an east London hospital. He died in hospital yesterday (Thursday).

Police are urging witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.

The rider of the motorcycle sustained minor injuries. He has not been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.

A Met police spokesperson said: “Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are asking anyone who may have witnessed the lead up the incident, or who has dash cam footage, to contact them.
