Cyclist dies in West Hampstead

Man pronounced dead moments after emergency services arrived in West End Lane

A CYCLIST died in the street in West Hampstead on Saturday.

The man, in his 50s, was found with “serious injuries” in West End Lane, on Saturday morning around 8.40am.

Officers attended following reports of a cyclist colliding with a wall in West End Lane, near the Inglewood Road junction.

Police said the cyclist was pronounced dead “very soon after emergency services arrived”.

No one was arrested and the Met is not treating the death as suspicious.
