Exactly how was the Greenwood Centre paid for?

07 March, 2019

• I WAS interested to read that the cost of the Greenwood Centre was put at £17million, (Camden opens £17 million Greenwood Centre, February 28).

This is somewhat at odds with Camden Council’s overall projected budget in November 2016 which was £21.7million.

And this figure would have been £900k higher if the decision to scrap a hydrotherapy pool had not been taken to save costs).

In the interest of accuracy and transparency, it would be helpful if councillors would confirm the full and final cost to Camden residents of the Greenwood Centre.

Further it would be illuminating to learn exactly how this very large investment has been paid for. That is, where has the money come from?
