Firefighters tackle blaze in King’s Cross

Copper dome damaged

FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a fire at a works site in King’s Cross this morning (Monday).

An ornate copper dome at a property in Flaxman Terrace, behind Euston Road, appeared to be damaged as the Brigade worked to get the blaze under control.

Scaffolding wraps the site, which was in the process of being renovated.

Firefighters appeared to have the fire under control later in the morning. Nobody is understood to have been hurt in the incident.
