Doctors removed a bullet from the teen’s foot
A TEENAGE boy was shot in the ankle as he cycled through the Regent’s Park estate, police have said.
The 17-year-old took himself to hospital in the early hours of Monday and doctors removed a bullet from his foot.
Detectives from the Met’s gangs unit are investigating the shooting, which is believed to have taken place near Albany Street at some point between 11:30pm on Sunday and 00:30am on Monday.
Police said the victim told them he was shot as he cycled around the Regent’s Park estate.

If follows the discovery of a revolver and 13 rounds of ammunition in a unlocked vehicle in nearby Robert Street last month. Specialist officers carried out a fingertip search of the area after a tip-off from residents.
Detectives have asked anyone with information about the latest shooting to come forward.
