How about a free skip service for fly-tipping hotspots?
13 September, 2018
• CAMDEN is classed as “medium” for fly-tipping in London, although some would suggest the problem is on the rise.
Indeed, the “no dumping” signs are not a deterrent for persistent fly-tippers, so other measures could be considered, like a free skip service for where fly-tip hot spots exist.
Then there are the council-owned street properties that have no household rubbish bins at all. Is it any wonder why some council tenants prefer to place their household waste on a street corner at weekends, rather than let it accumulate uncontained on their doorstep!
