Robbie ‘The Camden Caretaker’ Chapman will take on Callum Ide over four rounds on Saturday

MIDDLEWEIGHT Robbie “The Camden Caretaker” Chapman says he is looking forward “to putting on a show” on Saturday when he steps between the ropes for his second outing in the professional ranks.

The former St Pancras ABA semi-finalist, who juggles his training around working full-time at Regent High School in Somers Town – hence his moniker – will go head-to-head against Callum Ide over four rounds at Tottenham Leisure Centre.

“It’s all done now, the hard stuff,” said Robbie, who is coached by Xavier Miller from IQ Boxing. “Now it’s time for the actual stuff I enjoy, the reason I started boxing in the first place – the fight.

“My times have been great on all my runs, I have been sparring some really good lads, the likes of Ted Cheeseman [English Champion] and Jordan Reynolds [Team GB rep].

“My coach and team have all noticed the improvements I have been making since my debut, so Saturday night is time to put that into action.

“This is when I start to get excited, think about my ringwalk and the atmosphere. I just cant wait to get in there and soak it all up. This is what all the sacrifice is for. I have done a load of tickets for this fight again so I am expecting to take the roof off, but none of this would be possible without my sponsors The Tumeric Co, Canavape CBD and Camden Piercing and Tattoo studio.”

• Tickets are available for anyone interested in catching the Caretaker in action, standard £35 or ringside £65. Contact him via @Chapman_Robbie on Instagram or @CaretakerCamden on Twitter for details.
