MODEL Jo Wood admitted she was in tears as she moved out of her Primrose Hill home last week, writes Samantha Booth.

The 64-year-old former wife of Rolling Stone Ronnie left her home of nine years on Friday for a new countryside pad. She said: “I was a bit sad actually, I cried. But I think it’s good for me to be doing something totally different as I’ve moved to an off-grid house.”

Jo, who still has family in Camden, spoke to the New Journal before a talk about her new book, Stoned, at the Rock’n’Roll Book Club at the Dublin Castle, Parkway, on Wednesday.

The book has unseen photographs and stories from her life behind the scenes with the Stones. She lit up seeing her name on the event’s poster, saying: “It’s my parting gift from Camden. “I’ve been here lots, I’ve danced in here, I’ve been in here until 2am, that’s really funny.”
