MOVIE A-listers were on the doorsteps of Somers Town on Tuesday, doing their bit to deliver emergency food to people forced to self-isolate during the coronavirus crisis.
Jude Law, who lives in Highgate village, and Katherine Waterston – both of whom starred in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald – were working with a support centre set up at Edith Neville Primary School. Their help was organised through SpareHand – a website connecting volunteers with foodbanks.

Ruby Nasser, Edith Neville’s headteacher, said: “We are really grateful to SpareHand for arranging volunteer support as it has meant we can deliver essential food and school supplies to families who are unable to leave their homes.”
Mr Law, who also starred in The Talented Mr Ripley and Closer, has also supported Save The Children’s coronavirus response in a story-reading fundraiser.
