NATASHA Boon, the florist from Kentish Town aiming to win one of TV’s biggest singing shows, is through to the last 60 contestants in the competition.

The 27-year-old will battle it out in the dreaded six-chair challenge in Sunday’s episode of The X Factor. Her mentor Simon Cowell will decided whether she progresses further.

Ms Boon, who runs Natasha’s flowers near the tube station, said: “The girls that are left have all the big, belting voices. I am worried, but I will try my best. I do feel like I can do it. I am ready for this big step.”

She added: “It’s all about how you can deal with pressure. I feel like I can cope with the pressure element of things because I deal with pressure when I am on my own running the flower stall. But I’ve never been in a singing competition before. This is one of my biggest achievements in life.”

“Regardless of what happens now, I got to stand up in front of 5,000 people and say ‘hello Wembley’. And I’ve got people all over the world messaging me saying they are a fan of mine. I’ve had people from Ethiopia, Texas, Colombia, Brazil, Spain, France – lots from South America which is funny.”
