A BIKE shop in Kentish Town has come to the rescue, donating a bike to a doctor who had his stolen.

Balrik Kailey, a cardiology specialist at Hammersmith Hospital, had his bike stolen this week and took to Twitter to help.

Baha Kenzi, owner of the Bike House in Fortess Road, saw the plea for help online and donated a bike to Mr Kailey free of charge.

He said: “The NHS need as much support as possible for the hard work they do. The work they do they need to be recognised for the hard work they do.”

Mr Kailey said on Twitter: “It is extraordinarily generous for individuals to be offering to be buying, giving, contributing to a new bike and genuinely very heart-warming.”
