CAMERA crews have returned to Bloomsbury with the production team behind hit drama series Killing Eve believed to be shooting new scenes.

Filming for the second series of the thriller, starring Jodie Comer as the perplexing assassin Villanelle, began taking place almost as soon as the first season had finished airing on the BBC. It is understood that the show has made more than one visit to Marchmont Street, with film crews set up around the Moreish deli, the neighbouring launderette and Judd Books on Saturday morning.

It is scheduled for its first broadcast in the US next April. The first series used locations in Camden, including Hampstead Parish Church, where Sandra Oh’s investigator character Eve Polastri attends a colleague’s funeral, and the popular Andrew’s Cafe, in Gray’s Inn Road, where she discusses theories about the case with colleagues.
