Sacha Fayers died in 2013

FRIENDS and family of Sacha Fayers, who died on Christmas Day in 2013, have raised more than £20,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Mr Fayers, who grew up in Honeybourne Road, West Hampstead, was diagnosed with the genetic lung disorder condition at an early age. He died aged 37.

He was a popular face across Camden and was known by many different nicknames including “Laissez-Fayers”, “Sacha Belle”, “Sacha Flares” and  “Skillful Sach”. Around 500 people attended his memorial. “Team Sach” have completed sponsored walks, a “mad dash” up a skyscraper fire escape and last weekend ran the Cardiff Bay 10k with Sacha’s nephews and niece taking part.
