A MAN has been jailed for gun offences after he took a loaded revolver and ammunition to a New Year’s Eve party.

Ruan Mota was sentenced to six years and 11 months in prison at Wood Green Crown Court, earlier today (Monday), having previously pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of ammunition.

The 24-year-old was arrested after a party at a mansion in Trinity Close where 100 people were seeing in the New Year. Police were called to reports of a male being in possession of a firearm.
