Man, in his 20s, dies in Malden Road

A MURDER investigation has been launched after a shooting in Kentish Town.

Police and emergency services were called to Malden Road shortly before midnight on Sunday to reports of a shooting.

Officers, including firearms officers, and London’s Air Ambulance attended.

A man, believed to be aged in his 20s, was found with a gunshot injury and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12.10am this morning (Monday).

His next of kin are yet to be information and formal identification has not taken place.

The Met say at this early stage, there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
