AN NHS inspired drama is one of three Hampstead Theatre plays being streamed for free online.
Nina Raine’s play Tiger Country – an action-packed and astute drama about the National Health Service and the people who keep it going – can be watched on the theatre’s website from Monday for one week.
#AIWW: The Arrest of Ai Weiwei – about the imprisonment of the Chinese Artist in 2011 – will be shown the following week from April 27 to May 3,
Roxana Silbert, Artistic Director of Hampstead Theatre said: “I feels like there has never been a more apt time to share Tiger Country – Nina Raine meticulously studied the NHS and spent much time with its extraordinary employees who put their lives on the line, daily, to keep Britain safe.”
Howard Brenton’s Drawing the Line, about the chaotic partitioning of India in 1947, is currently available to watch on the theatre’s website, until April 19.
Hampstead Theatre closed following Government advice on March 16.
The shows are being streamed in conjunction with the Guardian newspaper and can be found on the theatre’s website at https://www.hampsteadtheatre.com/
