No wonder there is anger over the loss of the Charlie Ratchford Centre

22 June, 2017

• I HAVE been a regular at Charlie Ratchford’s day centre in Chalk Farm, one of four scheduled for closure (Disabled activists’ fury over charges, June 15).

So I can vouch for the exceptional high standard of care provided by an excellent staff and how frustrated and saddened we are at its imminent demise.

This skilled care applies especially to those who attend and have special needs; no wonder they were so vociferous at last week’s meeting.
