People might as well walk in the road

10 January, 2020

• I AM totally fed up with cyclists riding on pavements. I have nearly been run over three times in the last three weeks.

When one challenges them you only get a load of abuse or get ignored completely.

I have also nearly had clashes with youths on skateboards going like the clappers along the pavement, also children on small bikes.

People might as well walk in the road in that case and see what ensues from that – a mighty accident!

Please would all cyclists note that the pavement is for pedestrians and the road is for cycles and cars.
