Officers ‘keen to trace family’ of man who collapsed outside hospital on Boxing Day

The man police are attempting to identify

DETECTIVES are trying to identify a mystery man who is an induced coma after collapsing from a heart attack.

Police released a ­picture of the patient at ­University College Hospital in a bid to find his ­family. The man is said to be in a life-threatening ­condition after collapsing outside the hospital in Euston Road on Boxing Day afternoon.

It is possible the man is homeless and was not carrying any ID.

Officers said: “Due to his poor state of health police are keen to trace his family as soon as possible.”

Anyone who can assist in identifying him is urged to contact CID at Central North Command Unit by dialling 101.
