NINE men have been charged with drug offences following Wednesday’s early morning raids in Queen’s Crescent.
Officers who had been a part of a seven-month-long investigation into a prolific Camden gang descended on the area from 4am and executed 19 search warrants.
They made 14 arrests and discovered thousands of pounds worth of cash and drugs as well as weapons.
Those charged with a crime have now been named and include Helijie Bungisa, 28, from Haverstock Road, Gercelain Bungisa, 28, of Stanmore Road, Tottenham, Adam Fontana, 24, of Strode Close in Muswell Hill, Elliot D’Sane, 25, of Agincourt Road, Belsize Park, Anthony Drummond, 18, of Vicars Road and Vincent Bresline, 36, of Grafton Road. All have been remanded in custody until their next court appearance in September.
Jamaal Bradley, 26, of St Albans Villas and Brian Gleeson, 57, of Grafton Road have also been charged but have been granted bail until their next court hearing.
Five others including a 21-year-old man, 18-year-old man, 34-year-old man, 31-year-old man and 33-year-old man have been released under investigation.
The operation into the gangs dealings was led by the Central North Gangs Unit who were supported on the day by firearms officers, the Territorial Support Group and the local Violence Suppression Unit.
The investigation is ongoing.
