A 29-year-old is to appear in court today over the killing of a father-of-two who was stabbed to death in Camden Town nearly two years ago.
Zekeria Quabdid, 29, is accused of murdering Romeo Nkansah on May 29, 2016. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court today.
Mr Nkansah, 37, who lived in Islington, was on a night out with friends in Camden Town when he was attacked with a knife. He died after suffering a single stab wound in Greenland Street, staggering to the junction of Camden High Street and collapsing close to the Burger King outlet.
At the time of his death, Mr Nkansah’s sister said he was a “loving father of two young boys,” adding: “He was a very caring and jovial person who enjoyed helping others.”
She said: “I was very close to my brother and have lost forever my best friend, my backbone and guardian angel.”
