Santa at Camden Town barber shop helps raise money for missing people

Is this the most festive shopfront in Camden Town?

18 December, 2018 — By Geoffrey Sawyer

A CAMDEN Town barber is raising a smile – and the odd quid for a missing person’s charity – with a festive window display.

Ossie Mehmet has brought Christmas to Parkway by inviting Santa Claus to stand outside the shop, with passers-by stopping for a snap contributing to a collection box.

Mr Mehmet said: “We are raising money for Missing People, a charity which tries to bring people back together.” Missing People try to provide a link between people who have disappeared – nearly 200,000 go missing in the UK every year – and worried relatives.
