CAMDEN Town became the backdrop to a music video for hit indie-pop band Scouting for Girls yesterday (Tuesday).

The three-piece from west London, famous for songs such as She’s So Lovely and Elvis Ain’t Dead, were filming for their new track Grown Up.

Crowds watched on as they played near stalls in Inverness Street.

Speaking to the New Journal, lead singer Roy Stride said: “Camden makes the perfect video setting but we’ve also had such a huge part of our music life has been based around Camden. We got signed after a gig up in Dublin Castle.”

She added: “We used to see bands at The Falcon, Underworld. We grew up in Ruislip so it was only 40 minutes to come here so we used to come here when we were teenagers through to now.”
