Should there not be an investigation into the ex-chief whip’s actions?
25 November, 2021
• IT is only right that the Labour chief whip has now resigned from being a councillor, but who else knew he was the secret owner of the Twitter account, and who else might have made use of it? (Lazzaro Pietragnoli resigns over ‘abusive’ social media account, November 22).
Perhaps he was operating alone but should there not be a full and independent investigation? An important question is whether any of his posts had any connection to his role as investigator of complaints against councillors or party members.
