SINGER Laura Marling is to play a solo concert at the Union Chapel, the iconic music venue in Upper Street which has warned it is struggling to survive the coronavirus crisis.
Ticket-buyers will be sent a link to watch an ultra high definition stream of her performance tomorrow (Saturday) evening at 8pm.
The Union Chapel, survived a demolition threat 25 years to become one of London’s most unique settings for live music.
But like all venues, it faces a potentially long wait to have gig-goers back through the door.
The building has been used as a crisis centre food distribution hub during the lockdown.
Tickets are £12 and available through the DICE app. Ms Marling, who is raising money for the Trussell Trust and Refuge, had to postpone her European tour as the outbreak took hold.
