PLAYS will return at La Sante Union secondary school for the first time during the pandemic this week, with a performance of Taming of the Shrew.
Performances on Tuesday and Wednesday evening will see pupils perform the Shakespeare play with a feminist twist according to head of drama Sarah O’Keefe. The hour-long play will be accompanied by a live jazz band.
Ms O’Keefe said: “It’s very exciting to be able to have live theatres and audiences after a long year and a half. The girls have risen to the occasion with their excellent performances. It’s lovely to see their talent in action once again”.
