Take my Brexit survey

08 November, 2018

Take Hampstead and Kilburn MP Tulip Siddiq’s Brexit survey

• THIS month, I am launching my Brexit Survey. At an important time in the negotiations I want to hear your views on Brexit. This will help to inform my parliamentary contributions in the months ahead.

For many of us June 2016 feels a long ago. Brexit preparations have run, stalled and lurched, grabbing our headlines and fuelling our concern.

Since the referendum more details about Brexit have emerged and the government’s management of negotiations has taken us to a political and economic cliff edge. At the referendum in 2016, 75 per cent of constituents in Hampstead and Kilburn voted for Remain.

I have worked hard to reflect this in parliament, voting against triggering Article 50, in favour of retaining our memberships of the customs union and the single market, and demanding unilateral guarantees for our EU citizens.

However, as we approach the so-called “Brexit Day”, more information about both a deal and a no-deal scenario have come to light. I am aware that with two years passing since the vote, minds may have changed.

I am aware that Brexit is a keen concern for many residents, and want to hear from as many people as possible so that my parliamentary contributions take your voices into account.

My survey is open now to all Hampstead and Kilburn residents. Please do fill out the survey and share with any friends, family and colleagues who live in our area.

The survey can be accessed on my website blog –
