Tesco bid for booze licence ahead of move into Camden High Street

TESCO’S entry into Camden Town’s supermarket wars is a step closer after the company applied for an alcohol licence for a new store in the High Street. The New Journal reported how it was lining up a move into an empty unit close to branches of Marks and Spencer and Waitrose. The application says it plans to be open to the public from 6am to 11pm.
