Thanks for your support in Kentish Town
10 May, 2018
• I WOULD like to thank Kentish Towners for re-electing me and my two brilliant colleagues and friends, Georgia and Jenny on May 3 to serve as your councillors for another four years.
This is truly a privilege and an honour and I am humbled by the many well-wishers since the moment the results were announced.
I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the many Kentish Town Labour Party members, our campaign managers, supporters, and my friends, who delivered thousands of leaflets, came out and campaigned with us throughout our four-year term since 2014, in rain, in snow, and occasional sun, speaking to hundreds of people at the doorsteps and at our stall in our usual spot outside the Co-op in Kentish Town Road.
We couldn’t have done it without you. But most all, I couldn’t have done it without the unconditional support of my wife. I know can never repay her for her sacrifice in this journey.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers but I promise to listen to you and hear what you have to say. My pledge is to serve you and all Kentish Towners as best as I can for the next four years, and if I miss the occasional email or voicemail please do forgive me and give me a second chance.
