The Dixon Clark Court consultation was hardly transparent

30 October, 2020

• CONSULTATION on the proposed building round Dixon Clark Court could hardly be described as having been transparent.

Islington Council assured residents in July 2016 that they would have more green space than before, while the figures presented to the planning committee in 2018 showed a reduction of 317 square metres.

The figure then highlighted, however, was indeed a gain of 100 square metres – in that part the council decided would be “usable”.

Window dressing indeed!
