Exciting Opportunities to Make an Impact in Your Local Health System Lay Members Remuneration is £13,136 for circa 4 days per month (subject to review)

NHS Camden Clinical Commissioning Group is a clinically led and member driven CCG, with 35 GP practices in Camden making up our membership. Our members work alongside us to make decisions about how best to deliver health and care services across one of London’s most diverse and dynamic boroughs. With demand for services rising and resources ever more constrained, this is a pivotal time of transformation for both the CCG and the wider health and care system.

The Opportunity
Improving the health and wellbeing of our residents in Camden is a top priority. We now have an exciting opportunity for two individuals to get involved in shaping their local NHS and support the continuing development of our CCG by becoming non-clinical members of the Governing Body. Both lay members require individuals of outstanding character and capability, ideally with board level experience and capable of sharing responsibility as part of the team for ensuring that the CCG exercises its functions effectively, efficiently and economically. Our lay members provide assurance that the CCG embraces good governance and the highest levels of probity and ideally we are seeking an individual with strong financial and audit experience for one of these appointments. Both members will have the ability to represent the health system externally and build strong links with a diverse range of stakeholders.
