Support Worker for Disabled Children and Young People – Camden

About the role
KIDS Camden are urgently recruiting Short Break Workers. We are looking for experienced, committed workers who have worked with disabled children / adults before. Preferably this experience would be as 1:1 support carer in a community setting. Short Breaks are on a 1:1 basis in the community and or in the child or young person’s home.

The hours are after school pick up (3.15pm onwards) and or weekends / holidays. All the families we support reside in the borough of Camden.

About the Candidate
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic individuals to support disabled children and young people up to the age of 25 years old on a 1:1 basis in the London Borough of Camden. Available on weekends / holidays / after school pick ups.

We are recruiting Short Break Workers of all ages / backgrounds; whether this be a role for students completing a University Degree / College course and looking for some extra experience to compliment your education. Or maybe you are a Teaching Assistant and are looking for some additional part time work?
Strong interpersonal skills required.

The hourly rate is £10.85 per hour, plus you
accrue an extra £1.31 per hour holiday pay.

There are guaranteed hours on a monthly basis.
